The San Diego Chargers enter 2010 facing an uncertain future at Running Back. Ladanian Tomlinson will more than likely not be back, and the Chargers face the difficult task of replacing the best back in team history.
Tomlinson has stated that he feels that the Bolts will not retain his services, and is looking forward to playing for a new team. Travesty is a good word for this, as LT has done more to elevate the Chargers name than virtually any player in team history.
So the question becomes, who takes his place? Darren Sproles is too small, and no one else on the roster is headed to the hall of fame. The draft may be the Chargers best bet, and they may have to trade up to get a top back.
